Intel wants your big ideas for its Make it Wearable initiative and it’s happy to stump up some serious cash to find out what they are.
The year long initiative is designed to inspire ideas and innovation in the field of wearable technology. “Anything that can be worn, implanted or grown” is up for discussion and the 5 best pitches win a cool $5k and a visit to to San Francisco on Intel’s dollar.
The really big money, is reserved for those folks who can develop an idea. Intel is prepared to invest up to $50,000 dollars in the top 10 semi-finalists and provide them with ‘intensive incubation and mentoring. The eventual winner of the development track, walk’s away with a chunky $500,000.
