The great and good from the world of wearables are clearing their schedules ahead of the second Wearable Technology Show taking place in London on 10-11 March.

Notables from Google, Samsung, Intel, LG and IBM will be speaking at the event, where more than 80 exhibitors including Intel, Jawbone, Misfit, Samsung and Withings will be in attendance to show off new products.

Billed as “the world’s largest dedicated wearables event” the show is being staged at the ExCel exhibition and international convention centre. Over 200 speakers will be sharing ideas and insights with delegates, who will be able to view the latest product demonstrations and network with the industry.

This year, the show features four distinct zones – Innovation; Fitness and iHealth; Smart Textiles and Fashion; and Wrist Innovation – plus the Augmented Reality Show. Some of the very latest prototypes and start-ups will also be showcased in the Innovation Village.

There are nine dedicated tracks, including Innovation & IOT; Wearable Start Up; Augmented Reality; Smart Textiles & Fashion; Connected Living; Medical, Performance Sports; Products, Payments & Retail; and Enterprise & M2M.

The show also hosts The Wearable Technology Start-Up Competition and a dedicated Hackfest, as well as the Wearables Awards handed out at an after show networking party on 10 March at the Fox Pub next to ExCel.

“Many have earmarked this year as the year the wearable market will prove itself. And I couldn’t agree more. The innovation and creativity hasn’t stopped. But now designers, futurists and start ups have an even better idea of functionality and are creating products that solve real problems and make our lives easier, more efficient and more enjoyable.”

John Weir, COO, Wearable Technology Show

Hypernetec will be there, with interviews and exclusives live from the show. Check out a selection of the great interviews from last year here.
